Full-Body Scan Technology Deployed in Street-Roving Vans

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGCd0KPJcMs

A technology known as backscatter x-ray vision makes it capable for seeing through clothes and walls had been rolling out on U.S. Streets. Currently used in courthouses and airport security, this is yet another example of the growing police state. American Science & Engineering, a company based in Billerica, Massachusetts, has sold U.S. and foreign government agencies more than 500 backscatter x-ray scanners mounted in vans that can be driven past neighboring vehicles to their contents said Joe Reiss a vice president of marketing at the company. The biggest buyer of AS&E’s machines over the last 7 years has been the Department of Defense for the war in Afghanistan and Iraq however law enforcement agencies have also deployed the vans, supposedly to search for vehicle-based bombs in the US. The Z Backscatter Vans, or ZBVs, as the company calls them, bounce a narrow stream of x-rays off and through nearby objects, and read which ones come back. Absorbed rays indicate dense material such as steel. Scattered rays indicate less-dense objects that can include explosives, drugs, or human bodies. That capability makes them powerful tools for security, law enforcement, and border control

Poker Face - Grassoline

Lyrics:
I, I and my friends, smoke lots of kind Marijuana
Why, is the best plant to save the earth has been made illegal
Why, do judge & lawyers get to smoke the finest marijuana
Please let the farmers grow, fields of HEMP and marijuana
Please take the wheel, Ill let you drive
Now is the right time to legalize marijuana
My forefathers grew lots of HEMP and marijuana
Please take the wheel, Ill let you drive
Grassoline, filling up your tank with
Grassoline, more powers in the pedal
Grassoline, filling farmers pockets
Grassoline, the answer to our countries needs 1
Growing all America green 2
The answer to Americas needs 3
Gonna raise a farm now, with some cows and some chickens too
Im gonna dig the earth, and grow the kindest nug/bud too
And I can see for miles, and miles of HEMP & green
Growing all America, STRONG, on homegrown grassoline
HEMP made grassoline
Please take the wheel, Ill let you drive
CHORUS
People, rejoice, there's enough of Gods love to go around
Starve an Oil Baron with lots of HEMP & marijuana
Please take the wheel, Ill let you drive .

Ron Paul: Left and the Right Demagogue Mosque, Islam

On August 20th, 2010 Dr. Ron Paul released a press release regarding the controversy around the "Ground Zero Mosque". Leave it to Ron Paul to bring the real debate and issues into perspective.

Press Release:

LAKE JACKSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Congressman Ron Paul today released the following statement on the controversy concerning the construction of an Islamic Center and Mosque in New York City:

“They never miss a chance to use hatred toward Muslims to rally support for the ill conceived preventative wars. A select quote from soldiers from in Afghanistan and Iraq expressing concern over the mosque is pure propaganda and an affront to their bravery and sacrifice.”
.“Is the controversy over building a mosque near ground zero a grand distraction or a grand opportunity? Or is it, once again, grandiose demagoguery?

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass. Take kindly to counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. An whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. STRIVE TO BE HAPPY.

I hope you enjoy this

What is the one thing we all have in common? The desire to be free! To do that the message of freedom needs to spread like a wild fire out of control. People need to be reminded of the value of freedom everyday. A great way to spread this message is through music. As many of you know we have been a supporter of Jordan Page since we discovered him. Recently he filmed a video for his new song "Liberty". Below is the youtube video for this great song. We hope you enjoy!

Click here if the video does not appear in your email window. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bitxwy6okn4

If you have not heard now Jordan is doing a College tour to help spread this wonderful message. Please come out and support Jordan on tour. Details of this can be found on Jordan's Myspace page. Thank you for your support and we hope you will pass this message on!

Jordan Page is a young singer/songwriter/guitarist who uses his music to promote a message of peace while educating and mobilizing resistance to tyranny and the erosion of American civil rights. He embodies the protesting spirit of past years that is so rare in music today. He believes that armed service is not the only way to serve one’s country. Armed with the truth in song, he has raised up his voice in opposition to extreme military foreign policies, the corruption of the Federal Reserve, subversion of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, torture of prisoners, warrantless domestic surveillance, and oppression perpetrated by globalist elements in government. His songs are often stirring, and always challenging.

Money Out of Thin Air

Now Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke Wants To Eliminate Reserve Requirements Completely?

Up until now, the United States has operated under a "fractional reserve" banking system. Banks have always been required to keep a small fraction of the money deposited with them for a reserve, but were allowed to loan out the rest. But now it turns out that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke wants to completely eliminate minimum reserve requirements, which he says "impose costs and distortions on the banking system". At least that is what a footnote to his testimony before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services on February 10th says. So is Bernanke actually proposing that banks should be allowed to have no reserves at all?
